The role of Senior Counsel, Business and Legal Affairs reports to the Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, and is part of a team responsible for providing business and legal affairs services for scripted and unscripted programming, content acquisitions and live entertainment across Versant’s portfolio of television entertainment networks, including USA Network, Oxygen, E! and SYFY.

Overview: The Senior Manager, Internal Audit will work collaboratively and independently to execute the Company’s SOX program. This role will supervise staff members throughout the planning, execution, and reporting phases of the audit cycle. The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President, Internal Audit. Responsibilities: Participates in the SOX planning process including risk assessment and scoping. Performs walkthroughs to identify and document processes, risks, control activities, and supporting technologies.

Role Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst, TV Networks will report to the Senior Manager and provide critical financial support across MSNBC, CNBC, Golf Channel, USA, E!, SYFY, and Oxygen. This role is instrumental in driving accurate forecasting, insightful reporting, and strategic analysis of subscriber revenue. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to support decision-making across the networks.

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant, Programming Accounting will serve as key member of the Controllership Group within the TV Networks Group at Versant Media. The TV Networks Group includes the best brands in the industry, including MSNBC, CNBC, E!, Oxygen, SyFy, USA Network and various sports properties that air on these networks. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to learn about the entertainment businesses and be a change agent. The position will report to the Manager, Programming Accounting and will work closely with finance leadership across the group.

What You'll Do: Oversee the controllership activities for TV Networks programming and production costs, including licensed and owned content, as well as live sports and news production. Oversee that all transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and SOX controls. Partner as trusted advisor to the TV Networks finance organization on issues concerning reporting and controls, and assist with the formulation of financial and operational policy matters.

Responsibilities: Oversee the company’s financial reporting processes including the monthly close and consolidation process, as well as external reporting functions as a key leader in Chief Accounting Officer organization. Oversee overall period end financial close and consolidation process, partnering with business unit and functional Controllership teams to ensure that transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and SOX controls.

Responsibilities: Oversee the controllership activities for corporate and centralized headquarters functions. Oversee that all transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and SOX controls. Partner as trusted advisor to the finance organization on issues concerning reporting and controls, and assist with the formulation of financial and operational policy matters. Participate in monthly/quarterly closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial information.
