We are looking for an audio engineers to join our MSNBC Audio Unit. These roles will work across the unit to support multiple projects, to ensure high technical standards by mixing tape for audio platforms and fine tuning our video podcasts. The engineers will report to the Senior Production Manager and collaborate with the producers to ensure podcasts are beautifully mastered and delivered to spec. The engineers should understand and have an interest in news and politics, as well as journalism best practices.

This role focuses primarily on breaking political news, with additional coverage of select trending and other news topics. The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgment, a deep understanding of journalistic standards and the ability to consistently uphold MSNBC’s tone and editorial values in high-pressure situations.

This role focuses primarily on political news, with additional coverage of breaking stories and select trending topics. The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgment, a deep understanding of journalistic standards and the ability to consistently uphold MSNBC’s tone and editorial values.

As a member of the MSNBC Digital copy desk, the copy editor is the last line of defense to ensure that our articles, columns, blogs and live blogs are of the highest quality possible. Whether it’s a long feature or a short breaking news blog, we will look to the copy editor to make sure our coverage is free of errors and typos and has context and clarity. The copy editor plays an essential part in producing compelling coverage that helps to expand our growing readership.
