The Vice President of Planning will be responsible for the logistical planning of current day, next day, and future events. Responsibilities: Focus on long-term strategic planning of news coverage. Develops coverage schedules and content guidelines across various platforms. Identifies and prioritizes important stories and events. Ensures ongoing stories are followed up and covered adequately. Monitor breaking news and coordinate coverage needs with MSNBC leadership and the Newsgathering Desk.

The Vice President – Washington, D.C. Bureau Chief is a critical editorial leadership role for the MSNBC. This person is responsible for working closely with producers, correspondents and reporters to manage, guide, refine and hone their daily reporting for the many platforms of MSNBC. The position is a highly collaborative, hands-on role and will work closely with multiple senior managers and editorial teams across the Network. Responsibilities: Leading and managing the daily editorial and logistical coverage process.
