JOB SUMMARY Oversees and manages the Architectural and Engineering design and construction administration effort within a specific area of a project. Also manages the resources, finances, and schedule of that project. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Attends weekly project meetings. Responsible for the coordination between the Architecture and Engineering vendors and the ride/show vendors including the development of all preliminary final facility impacts. Monitors construction in the field including identifying and resolving discrepancies between the construction and drawings and/or design intent.

The Assistant Director, Engineering & Safety provides technical and safety direction, inputs, and approvals for Universal Parks & Resorts Theme Park projects, inclusive of multiple attractions. As assigned, responsibilities may, and likely will, further include direct engineering contributions to one major development projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Project Manage large landscaping projects for our new park Lead the design and development of outdoor spaces that evoke emotion, spark imagination, and reflect a cohesive theme. Provides landscape, area development, site specific design, and management for the project themed zones and lands.

Supporting the planning and area development design for the resort roadways and back of house areas, focusing on site planning, placemaking, and soft/hard landscape design solutions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Provides area development and landscape specific designs for resort-wide projects, collaborating with in-house teams and external consultants. Contributes to the layout of roadways, parking, hotels, back-of-house facilities, and other resort components.
