KVDA is looking for an Operations Manager to support the technical day-to-day operation of the television station, managing the control room, live productions, and remote capabilities. This position is responsible for the technical operation and also serves as the key engagement lead to other division & enterprise groups to ensure successful delivery of these services to their internal client groups.

• Responsible for gathering information on newsworthy events. • Write, produce and present fair and accurate news stories, as well as feature stories. • Maintain informed on news events locally and nationally. • Develop and maintain a network of contacts providing access to exclusive stories. • Investigate information to establish facts and determine truth. • Deliver copy ready from a Teleprompter or with no Teleprompter. • Gather information on newsworthy events and write, produce and present fair, accurate and unbiased news stories as assigned.

The Manager of Technology provides direct supervision of the broadcast engineering & systems engineering technical support teams. The Manager of Technology will report into the station’s General Manager, with a dotted line into the Regional Senior Director of Technology. This position is responsible for the daily management of existing systems & technologies as well as the deployment of new technologies to enhance our capabilities. The role oversees the technical support, upgrades, projects, and sustainability for broadcast critical infrastructure.
