KTDO Telemundo 48 is looking for a self-starter with strong writing and editing skills. Candidates must understand the power of visual storytelling. They must be well-versed on social media and understand how to gather the best video content from field and online. They must also thrive under pressure. Work closely with EPs, Show Producers, Anchors, Reporters and Assignment Editors to write content with strategy, including headlines, teasers, news briefs, anchor intros and lead-ins. Ability to write, desktop edit and gather content for all KTDO’s platforms including newscast and digital.

Candidate will be responsible for shooting, writing and editing daily stories for “on-air” and digital productions, as well as gather material to contribute building the rundown. · Candidate will also be responsible to assist in the production of the live broadcast. · Responsibilities also include keeping up to date on current events and news in our state. · The Multimedia Journalist will be expected to participate in community events and station activities from time to time as Master of Ceremonies and/or Host as requested by the station.
