The Vice President, Sales Liaison (Japan) will oversee sales activities for NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television products in Japan. This includes managing relationships with Linear platforms (Free TV, Basic & Pay TV) and Digital Media outlets (Pay-per-View, VOD, Subscription VOD, Ad-based Free on Demand, Electronic Sell-Through) as well as FAST channels. The Vice President will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies aligned with NBC Universal’s global objectives.

The Franchise & Retail Marketing Manager for Japan will have the following job responsibilities: Franchise & Event Marketing Activating the global franchise strategies at a market level by ensuring local relevance and partnering across other business units within the company with the goal of building or maintaining consumer relevance of our most important brands (Intellectual Properties).

Key Responsibilities Maximize the sales potential of each title by exercising rights, contributing to the achievement of the production and acquisition teams’ budget and overall company revenue. Negotiate, plan, propose, and implement title introductions to achieve operational profit (OP) Manage sales progress and oversee bond collection Handle related tasks such as sales recording, invoicing, and general administration Provide opportunities for content utilization in various forms to domestic and international users through licensees, enhancing customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for providing effective and comprehensive HR support across all of our businesses in Japan to enhance the employee experience. The key result areas of your role include HR operations and systems, Payroll & Benefits, HR Data and Analytics, employee relations and services, and employee life cycle management. You will report to the HR Director for Japan and partner closely with the broader HR community in APAC, as well as business managers in Japan.
