The Production Design Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the creative team(s) responsible for the scenic, prop, and costume design of live entertainment experiences and immersive environments. This role is an opportunity to learn and contribute to the design process, from concept development to execution. The intern will work closely with production designers, associate designers, and the props and costume teams, developing skills in design, drafting, and creative problem-solving.

The Spring 2025 intern will support the Facility Maintenance & Construction team in launching the Asset Lead Program (ALP). Duties include field verification and validation of Assets and Asset integration into Maximo. Intern will also assist in creation of program process flow charts and dashboards. Responsibilities: Field Assessment and Maximo Alignment Verify HVAC Assets in the field are aligned with Maximo Data. Updating Maximo Data if inconsistencies are present. Ensure Maximo data captures Serial Number, Asset Number, Venue, and Asset ID.

The Mechanical Engineering Intern provides support to sustaining engineering activities for theme park attractions (rides and shows). Duties include assisting Engineers with complex downtime investigation, reverse engineering, and other engineering tasks as required to ensure daily operational readiness of attractions. Additional duties include supporting re-design and development efforts for mechanical/structural systems of theme park rides and attractions. Some projects will require interfacing with Technicians, Management, Operations, Entertainment, and/or outside vendors.

Looking for a high potential Business/Finance/Accounting Undergraduate with strong interest to work in the Theme Park industry. The specific role will be working in one of the Universal Studios Hollywood Finance/Accounting teams located at the theme park. One to two major projects will be assigned, often related to FP&A, Accounting, Cost optimization, financial reporting, Process improvement and other financial analysis. The internship length will be roughly 10 weeks with flexibility to adapt to student schedule as needed.

Deliverables will include developing labor standards, providing throughput and capacity calculations, identifying bottlenecks, and providing recommendations for improvements.

USH Capacity Studies - time studying, data collections, data analysis, at various USH attractions to look at general improvements. Also look at the variety of ways Attractions tracks Delays and enhance it to one or fewer solutions.

As an Engineering intern, you’ll be supporting the engineering and operations technology to ensure quality product on air. A snapshot of your responsibilities: Assist with special projects, equipment installation, and testing. Assist the engineering team with research regarding system documentation and cabling. Support live and taped show productions.

As a marketing intern, you’ll assist the Marketing and Creative Services team with various consumer marketing, brand campaigns, on-air promotion, paid media, and social & digital related tasks. You will be assigned on-going, daily responsibilities as well as stand-alone projects and will assist with various office and administrative duties. You will participate in weekly department meetings and various project meetings throughout the semester.
