This content producer will also work with producers, reporters, anchors and the desk to gather elements and assist in the production of newscasts, news stories and special segments. Gather, produce, write, update and edit video news content for our streaming, linear and other platforms. Build rundowns in news systems including the use of virtual control room technology.

NBC6 and Telemundo 51, the NBCUniversal Local stations serving South Florida, are looking for a bilingual journalist to serve as an Assignment Editor in our duopoly’s multiplatform newsroom. You will be responsible for facilitating newsgathering and coordinating comprehensive coverage of news stories. Job Responsibilities: Assign and manage story coverage plans, photographers, and resources to maximize duopoly and newsroom efficiency. Maintain continuous communication with field crews, sharing changes and critical information.
