Summary: Provides essential office and onsite support and supervision within the Production Management team throughout the development, operation, and strike of Entertainment projects of various scales, including marquee events, daily park entertainment, placemaking efforts, and other special projects in the areas of budget, schedule, scope, and other production management functions.

The Assistant Manager, Entertainment Operations - Streets is responsible for assisting the Manager with oversight and management of the Entertainment Streets Department, including all aspects of front and back of house operations. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing finances, resolving operational challenges and addressing guest and/or team member issues. While primary focus may be overseeing the day-to-day operations, some responsibility will also fall in assisting the Manager with project management and short or mid-range planning.

The Assistant Manager, Special Effects is a pivotal role within the Entertainment Technical Teams, responsible for providing comprehensive support in the technical execution and production of all special effects, show action equipment, puppets, and animatronic elements for seasonal and event-based entertainment. Reporting directly to the Manager of Special Effects, this role requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong focus on operational efficiency, documentation, and upholding our world-class standards.

The Universal Studios Hollywood Entertainment Lighting & Electrics team serves as the lighting project management and design group for Entertainment projects. This team supports and interfaces with other Entertainment groups, including Creative, Production Design, Technical Design, Special Effects, Audio & Video, Show Control, and more to ensure successful creative and technical execution of all lighting and show power elements throughout the year.

The Supervisor, Entertainment Operations Shows shall be responsible for ensuring the functionality of all operations related to the day to day execution of the show(s)/element to which they are assigned. The Supervisor reports to the Manager and Assistant Manager, Entertainment Operations Shows as appropriate to ensure proper facilitation of duties.
