The Manager, Content Strategy will be an integral member of the team responsible for developing Peacock and Bravo’s holistic slate strategy for unscripted content to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and viewership. The Content Strategy team works closely with stakeholders across NBCUniversal to align content strategy and execution to business KPIs. The Manager position will report to the Vice President of Content Strategy.

Reporting to the EVP, Content Strategy, this key role in the Universal Television Entertainment Group is responsible for managing the entertainment content lifecycle management process, including Greenlight, for NBC, Bravo, and Peacock. This role also has a dotted line into the CFO, UTEG Finance.

Job Description The Peacock Programming team is responsible for setting the content strategy for Peacock across original and acquired programming, including television, film, and emerging formats, defining the service’s audience needs and determining the best strategies to entertain and delight our subscribers. We also craft launch strategies for all original programming, coordinate incoming acquired and current season content from across NBCUniversal, and manage internal communication about content plans for the service.

The Manager position will report to the Vice President of Content Strategy and will focus primarily on film and kids programming.

The Director, Content Acquisitions is responsible for the strategic evaluation of content for NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock, as well as our linear television networks NBC and Bravo. The Director is responsible for identifying and evaluating content opportunities, helping negotiate content agreements, optimizing the performance of the portfolio, and managing relationships with both internal and external content suppliers – this role contributes at every stage as the UTE Acquisitions team sources and licenses television series, films, and emerging content formats.

As the Vice President of Content Acquisitions, you will be responsible for evaluating, acquiring, and managing licensed programming for NBCUniversal’s Television & Streaming portfolio (Peacock, NBC, and Bravo). The Content Acquisitions team licenses SVOD, AVOD, and linear rights to entertain and delight our priority audiences. After negotiating these licensing deals, the VP is responsible for communicating critical deal terms to stakeholders across the company.

The Manager, Content Acquisitions role will support the UTEG Acquisitions team as it licenses content for NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock and linear television networks NBC and Bravo. The role is responsible for identifying and evaluating content opportunities, helping negotiate content agreements, optimizing the performance of the portfolio, and managing relationships with both internal and external content suppliers. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to pivot at a moment's notice.
