Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Create artwork that informs the early story and visual development process and well as the production process once the look of picture is defined. Work under the guidance of a Production Designer and Art Director to generate artwork related to characters, environments, backgrounds, costume and prop design. Support the Story, Modeling, Surfacing, Matte Painting and Layout departments on design specifics required for establishing locations and cameras. Ensure all timelines are met. Communicate progress of work to production staff.

“What would you say you do here?” Schedule and Workflow Manages the department schedule, tracks the labor weeks and coordinates the day-to-day workflow. Approves and manages overtime in their departments. Develops and manages internal department schedules and staffing requirements. Creates list of critical assumptions and highlights any vulnerabilities. Ensures accuracy of production tracking report and provides notes to support the numbers and strategy.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Responsible for delivering a final, filmmaker-approved color correct version of the movie for all required versions, including theatrical digital cinema and home video masters. Running live grading sessions for theatrical SDR and HDR home entertainment deliverables. Manage color (ACES) workflows, color correction using embedded di-matte channels, shot tracking, key framing, and setting up renders for final deliverables.
