The NBCUniversal News legal team supports NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, E! News, NBCU Local and Telemundo Network. The editorial lawyers work closely with journalists and editorial leadership to provide timely, practical, and strategic advice in support of our journalism and growing news business. Based in Miami, Telemundo produces and distributes premium Spanish-language news content to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world. Its flagship nightly news program is Noticias Telemundo. Telemundo Stations Group consists of 30 local television stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

The Role: Preferably based in Los Angeles, this role is ideal for an experienced music executive, who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is excited to roll up their sleeves, solve novel challenges, and create smart, scalable processes. At its core, the role will oversee music matters across Versant’s businesses, including building internal policies and processes, negotiating music clearance and library agreements, creating new ways to exploit owned music, and servicing Versant’s business units with their music needs. This role reports to the SVP, IP & Music.

The Manager, Compliance will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company’s ethics and compliance program. Role Purpose: The Privacy Analyst position is part of the Legal Privacy team, which reviews business requests and provides guidance on the collection and use of personal data in compliance with global privacy regulations. In this position, you will support the development and maintenance of NBCUniversal’s Legal Privacy program.

You’ll work on iconic existing brands and help launch new brands. You will work closely with senior legal and business leadership, providing critical support across trademark prosecution, clearance, and enforcement. The Responsibilities Manage a robust trademark filing portfolio, including prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.

We are seeking an experienced corporate transactions attorney with demonstrated proficiency in supporting commercial/vendor agreements, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic transactions and real estate, as well as assisting with securities and corporate governance matters. You will serve as a key strategic partner providing legal advice and transactional support to our procurement, finance and operations teams.
