Role Purpose: The Contracts Specialist resides in the Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team, which provides strategic legal and policy counsel to NBCUniversal divisions worldwide on disruptive technologies, and negotiates transactions that leverage AI and other new technologies. Working closely with the team’s lawyers and administrative staff, the Contracts Specialist will support a wide range of matters relating to the drafting, negotiation, and oversight of agreements, including NDAs, AI-related agreements, IP licenses, and similar contracts.

The Manager, Business Affairs will be primarily responsible for negotiating script development, series, writer/producer and other talent related agreements on behalf of Universal Studios Group in connection with scripted programming, including, but not limited to, negotiations related to the following: third-party script development agreements; license agreements; international co-production agreements; writer/producer, performer and other talent deals; co-productions; and product integrations. The Director, Business Affairs will be primarily responsible for negotiating deals related to the development and production of scripted programming for the NBC broadcast network and Peacock streaming service.
