Role Purpose To publicize and promote NBC Sports programming, production, partners, and talent in accordance with the company’s overall strategy and brand position. Responsibilities Support NBC Sports Communications department in numerous ways, including writing and distributing press releases, coordinating media interviews, and generating social media posts. Assist with maintaining press lists, scheduling media conference calls and department meetings, and maintaining and updating NBC Sports’ media-dedicated website.

NBCUniversal is seeking a Digital Operations Supervisor individual to join a driven and highly-motivated team located in Stamford, Connecticut within NBCUniversal’s Technical Operations. The Digital Operations Supervisor will be a part of a 24x7 digital NOC (dNOC) operation within NBCUniversal’s Distribution Operation supporting all linear handoffs (broadcast and streaming). The dNOC proactively monitors key distribution points to maintain high levels of QoS and QoE for external partners and consumers alike.

NBCUniversal is home to the EC Ingest team spanning across Stamford CT and Centennial CO which is a group of innovative and highly skilled technicians that oversee the ingest, transcode and distribution of NBCUniversal content. The EC Ingest team is responsible for ensuring content is recorded, prepared and fulfilled to numerous outlets including Broadcast Television, Digital Downloads, Video On Demand, Web Video, International Clients and more.

NBCUniversal’s Media Operations is responsible for managing the content supply chain of the company and key functions such as content ingest, QC, preparation, and fulfillment to meet the needs of our customers worldwide.

The Digital Content Editor plays a major role in the day-to-day execution of NBC Connecticut’s multiplatform news strategy. They will help to write, create and curate content for our multimedia platforms. The ideal candidate will work with reporters, photographers, digital team members, producers, and assignment editors to ensure the station’s content is impactful and relevant to the local audiences. The ideal candidate possesses great people skills, excellent reporting, writing and editing skills, as well as a passion for multi-platform journalism.
