“What would you say you do here?” Creates additional single-use animation used on promoted background characters. Cycles to be used on background generic characters fulfilling the shows needs and must maintain a high standard of quality. Works closely with the Crowds Supervisor and Head of Character Animation to build needed performances. Understands the technical requirements of a crowd system and works well with the concepts of looping and transitioning animation.

“What would you say you do here?” Provides overall general assistance to the Production Coordinator, Production Supervisor and crew within a specific department(s). Be in service to the production (i.e. seek ways to proactively support the crew, Production Coordinator and Production Supervisor, build the trust of the artists, know when to elevate issues, understand priorities and how to balance multiple requests including those which may come from outside of your department). Awareness of work in progress in the department.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Create artwork that informs the early story and visual development process and well as the production process once the look of picture is defined. Work under the guidance of a Production Designer and Art Director to generate artwork related to characters, environments, backgrounds, costume and prop design. Support the Story, Modeling, Surfacing, Matte Painting and Layout departments on design specifics required for establishing locations and cameras. Ensure all timelines are met. Communicate progress of work to production staff.
