Assistant Producer, Dateline Digital

Dateline NBC is seeking a creative Assistant Producer to produce and grow engaging digital content across platforms. Responsibilities: Review story submissions, answer DMs, and flag stories to pitch Monitor comments across social media accounts Check NBCnews.com for articles that align with our content to share on our accounts Assist in creating and publishing content on Dateline’s social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok. Input metadata for upcoming broadcasts Cut and archive digital library of Dateline full episodes Keep running list of aired episodes, content restrictions, and social media content created for each episode Assist with music cue sheets for each episode Write recap articles for recent episodes Interact live with followers from the Dateline social media account during episodes while the show is on the air on the East Coast Learn and execute Dateline’s voice seamlessly across all social platforms Collaborate with sales, analytics, marketing, product and press teams to optimize Dateline campaigns and content on social platforms PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of 24 months or less, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
